Crowdfunding Campaign a Smashing Success!

If April is the cruelest month, March was the kindest and most generous at the ExCollege. Experimenting with the university’s new crowdfunding platform, we launched our first-ever campaign to support the Robyn Gittleman Graduate Teaching Fellowships.

As the month progressed, we were just in awe of the response from our family of alumni. We began with an initial goal of $10,000 to fund two courses taught by Tufts graduate students, and by the end of the month we had raised over $29,000. Your generosity funds all four of the Gittleman Fellows selected for 2018, and puts us on solid footing for 2019 as we explore ways to sustain the program. Whether you donated to honor Robyn’s forty-four years at Tufts, to support innovative teaching, or to ensure that the next generation experiences the "class that changed everything," we are deeply appreciative.
